Darius Carbin, a graduate student-athlete at Georgia, placed second in the men's high jump final by clearing 7-4.25 (2.24m) on his first attempt, before losing in a sudden-death jumpoff at 7-5.25 (2.27m) against Tejaswin Shankar of Kansas State at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Carbin had placed seventh in three previous Division 1 finals appearances, including outdoors in 2019 in Austin, Texas, and indoors in both 2017 and 2018. More videos |
