Kyle Garland chooses University of Georgia

One of the nation's top athletes in the Class of 2018, Kyle Garland of Germantown Academy PA, announced that he will accept a scholarship to the University of Georgia. 

Garland, who aspires to be America's next great decathlete, was a member of the U.S. team that competed at the Pan American U20 Championships in Peru over the summer. 

In choosing Georgia, Garland cast his lot with a program that become a field event and multis college superpower. Kendell and Devon Williams, Georgia siblings and multi-event stars, both represented the U.S. at the World Championships in London in August.

Garland scored 7,212 points and earned the silver medal in Peru.
